Faith In The Future – Job Club Initiative

Our system can’t easily deal with the emotional and psychological aspects of unemployment, but many in the faith community can and do deal with these factors every day. That’s why we have partnered with willing faith-based and neighborhood organizations to start and manage Job Clubs.

Central Brevard Community Church of God in Christ

Along with using our Lab for your job search, we provide motivation and encouragement through Prayer and “Scriptures for the week.”  Various workshops will be Offered as well.

The U.S. Department of Labor

The U.S. DOL’s Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships has a Community of Practice called the Partnerships CoP. Designed for Job Club coordinators, volunteers, organizers, and others, the Partnerships CoP is a place to share toolkits and resources, connect with other Job Clubs locally and across the country, share contact information for One-Stop career centers with active Job Clubs, and access Webinars, discussion threads, and other resources.
