CareerSource Brevard Announces Resignation of President.

Lisa Rice accepts national position in workforce development.

Brevard County, FL–May 31, 2016.

The Board of Directors of CareerSource Brevard (CSB) has reluctantly accepted the resignation of CSB President Lisa Rice, effective August 8, 2016.

“It has been an honor for me to serve as president,” Rice said. “I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with so many exceptional business leaders and a dedicated team of professionals for more than 15 years. I look forward to continuing my support of workforce development from a broader, national perspective and will always support CSB’s great work moving forward.” Rice added that she would announce details of her new job in the coming weeks.

The CSB Board of Directors, chaired by Mike Menyhart has formed a transition team to guide the search for a replacement. “We want to thank Lisa for her work and visionary leadership and sincerely wish her well in her future endeavors.” Robert Jordan, incoming chair, added, “We look forward to continuing CSB’s long tradition of excellent leadership. CSB is a strong and vibrant organization, and, as board members, we know well the valuable contribution it makes to Brevard’s economy and the well-being of its citizens.”
