FORMER BIG BROTHER “HOUSE GUEST” / WESH 2 NEWS ANCHOR JASON GUY TO MODERATE TRI-REGIONAL BUSINESS SUMMIT

Orlando, FL – Former reality TV celebrity and local morning news anchor Jason Guy has signed on to moderate the inaugural Tri-Regional Business Summit at Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal 6 on Wednesday, September 24.  The half-day summit for business professionals takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and promises to change the way we, as a region, look at business employment in Central Florida.

Mr. Guy brings years of experience in news and the entertainment industry to this event, which will also feature several industry experts, key business leaders, and state and local decision makers, including Chris Hart, President and CEO of CareerSource Florida; Jess Panuccio, Director of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity; and Frank O’Dea, Director of the Florida Department of Transportation.

Business professionals from Flagler, Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Sumter Counties are encouraged to attend, as issues critical to becoming and/or remaining successful in our changing Central Florida economy will be addressed, including cyber security, digital marketing, and implementation of the Talent Gap plan.

Who should you be marketing to, and how?  It’s strategic marketing for a changing market.   Diane Michael of the Callan Group will update us on current trends, describe how to bring our marketing full circle, and show us how to get the most out of our invested dollars and time.

How can you ensure your clients that their information is safe?  Your company or business is at risk…from cyber threats.  You can no longer focus exclusively on prevention, because at some point, you WILL be compromised.  Mark Wolfgang, President and CEO of Shorebreak Security, will show us how to identify risks and manage them to ensure sensitive information is both protected and available when we need it.

What’s on the horizon for Central Florida?  A Regional Business Panel will interact with guests to answer questions and discuss economic plans and current and future developments for the region’s future business climate.

Register now, as seats are filling up quickly.  Registration is $50 and can be completed online at  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tri-regional-business-summit-tickets-7770412513.
