Employee Retention is a Bottom Line Subject.

THE COST OF LOSS. Have you ever calculated the cost of loss of a trained employee?  Do you know how much it costs your business to lose, recruit, and hire again?  It can be significant.

RE-EXAMINING RETENTION STRATEGIES. With the escalating costs associated with unscheduled employee loss, many organizations request assistance in assessing retention programs and developing retention-focused initiatives.

Keeping skilled workers is an ongoing challenge.  Every business must periodically examine retention strategies.

ON SITE AND OTHER ASSESSMENT TOOLS. We offer customized surveys and focus groups to isolate service delivery and retention-related issues.

“Several of my employees have personal issues that are affecting their work performance, causing high absenteeism and affecting their ability to show up on time.  Some have difficulty obtaining dependable, quality child care or have an ailing parent they are responsible for while others lack dependable transportation and even safe housing.  As their employer, how can I assist them?”

We also offer consultation services for developing an appropriate retention-building strategy. A Business Liaison can objectively gather and analyze information and formulate a report with the findings and with suggestions on how to improve the employee retention rate for your business.

ADDRESSING THE CAUSES. Employers are crafting caring work environments that respond to employees’ personal and family needs as well as their career needs.  In the RESOURCES section of this web site you will find programs and options you can research which can help to you, the employer, in retaining employees in today’s workforce, simply by expanding your knowledge of what’s available for your employees.  LEARN MORE.

AVOIDING A REDUCTION IN FORCE/INCENTIVES TO RETAIN
See these incentives to help you retain your current workforce.
Employed Worker Training funds are for employees who could be retained if they had different skills.  CareerSource Brevard receives to help offset this type of training cost.

If you are considering a temporary layoff, furlough or reduction in hours to reduce costs, the Short Time Compensation Program can offset wages lost to your employees during periods of a reduction in scheduled work hours.  The benefit to you is that you can reduce costs and lessen the negative impact on your workforce.
