At the heart of every endeavor is a relationship. In this workshop you will learn strategies to move forward in life and get the job you want.

 

August 14, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. – Building a Basic Website Business

Learn how to build a basic website business using template website products (Go-Daddy, Vista Print) or construct one for yourself to fit your business needs. Also discussed will be a few social networking tools to make your audience aware of your new business.

 

August 15, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. – Understanding Your Health Insurance Options

Whether you are transitioning between jobs, starting a new business or suffered a job loss, what private and public health insurance options are available in Brevard County.

 

August 28, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. – Basic Computer Skills

This class is designed to help people who have never used a computer before. We will concentrate on computer basics; how to use the mouse and keyboard.

 

August 28, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. – Social Networking for the Entrepreneur

Building a platform and using social networking tools to your best advantage to promote your business. Identifying Social Networking; what they are and why to use them. Make yourself a You Tube channel.

August 16, 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. – Basic Computer Skills 102

The student will learn basic computer terminology, how to open, move and save files, types of files, as well as how to work in more than one window at a time.

 

August 21, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Mortgage Choices – FL Hardest Hit

Information for distressed property owners focusing on the FL Hardest Hit Mortgage Assistance Fund for unemployed and underemployed homeowners. Foreclosure avoidance will be covered during the second half of class.

 

August 21, 11:00 – 12:30 p.m. – Budgeting Basics

Learn to prepare a budget, reconcile accounts and stretch dollars.

 

August 21, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. – How to Succeed at the Toughest Job in the World

In this workshop the student will learn LinkedIn’s purpose in job searching. In addition, the student will create an account, set up their profile and learn to manage their settings.

Take a proactive approach to planning your individual health insurance needs and understand choices other than COBRA.
