Update On Aerospace Sector
Strategy Summits—the convening and collaboration of experts—is at the heart of Sector Advancement.
The results of such collaborative efforts can be seen in the announcements of apprenticeships and credentialed programs including new options from FloridaMakes and ToolingU/SME. Progress can be seen in the ongoing success of EDC of Florida’s Space Coast efforts in Certified Production Technician credentialing, the uniquely employer-driven opportunities in CareerSource Florida’s Aeroflex Pre-Apprenticeship program, the growth of Apprenticeship programs, the utilization and expanded training options at Eastern Florida State College, and efforts to reach upcoming talent through Brevard Public Schools.
