Workshop To Teach Job Seekers How To Stand Out In The Crowd

Brevard County, FLORIDA – Brevard Workforce has partnered with Monster Government Solutions to hold a no-cost workshop to provide job seekers with the guidance and resources they need to find a job and manage their careers.

The workshop, titled “Let’s Get To Work: A Job Seeker Workshop”, will take place on December 8, 2011 at the Brevard Workforce Palm Bay career center (Country Club Plaza, 5275 Babcock St. NE). Sign-up begins at 5:00 p.m. and the workshop will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Roughly 100 seats are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Those attending must register online ( prior to the workshop.

The workshop will feature career experts who will provide information and techniques that job seekers need to stand out from the crowd in today’s tough job market and conduct effective job searches.

Monster experts will teach job seekers about resume tips and tricks, successful networking tools and techniques, new job hunting strategies, using career tools and understanding what employers are looking for in this difficult market. Job Seekers will also receive information on using Employ Florida Marketplace as well as guidance for accessing Monster’s interactive career management tools.

Great care has gone into making the workshop focused on the regional marketplace and workforce trends to provide Job Seekers with the highest quality relevant information. Materials presented during the workshop will be available to participants on a complimentary CD from Brevard Workforce after the event.
