Brevard Workforce Appoints New Palm Bay Career Center Manager

Brevard County, FLORIDA – Thomas LaFlore, with more than 14 years of experience in workforce development, has been appointed manager of the Brevard Workforce Palm Bay career center, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Mr. LaFlore will manage and oversee daily operations of the career center, while continuing to ensure Brevard Workforce meets the needs of local employers and job seekers.

The Palm Bay career center, located at 5275 Babcock St. NE, Suite 8B in the Country Club Plaza, provides a wealth of services to both employers and job seekers. On average, more than 6,000 people visit the center every month.

Mr. LaFlore has been with Brevard Workforce for more than seven years, holding positions of Employment Services Specialist, Business Services Consultant, and Community Leader.

“Running a career center is no easy task, and we believe Thomas will handle it very well,” said Brevard Workforce President Lisa Rice. “His experience and knowledge of not only Brevard Workforce but workforce development as a whole will serve us well. Thomas knows what it takes to make sure we continue to support Brevard County’s workforce.”

Mr. LaFlore earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Oral Roberts University in 1993; he earned his Master’s Degree in Leadership and Management from Webster University in 2010.

Mr. LaFlore currently resides in Palm Bay with his wife and two children.
