Brevard Workforce Holds Grand Opening For Titusville Career Center

TITUSVILLE, FL – Brevard Workforce, the area authority on workforce development, officially opened the doors of its new career center in Titusville during a Grand Opening ceremony held last Friday.

Dozens of local business leaders and elected officials were on hand, including Vice Mayor of Titusville Walt Johnson, who spoke during the ceremony. Brevard Workforce Board of Directors Vice Chairman William Chivers also addressed the crowd.
Representatives from The Titusville Chamber of Commerce officially recognized the opening of the new career center with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Following the speeches and ceremony, Brevard Workforce President Lisa Rice guided the attendees on a tour of the new facility.
The career center, located at 3880 S. Washington Ave., opened to the public in March.
At roughly 6,000 square feet, the new space offers approximately three times the space to accommodate business representatives and job seekers. In September, more than 3,000 people visited the center, a 40 percent increase from the same time last year.

Brevard Workforce will also be holding a Grand Opening ceremony for its Rockledge career center on Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. The center is located at 295 Barnes Blvd.
