CareerSource Brevard to Participate in Annual Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Event – POSTPONED TO NOV. 30TH

PAYCHECKS FOR PATRIOTS JOB FAIR in Viera has been postponed to Wednesday, November 30th due to the approaching storm. Please stay tuned after the storm has passed for updated details. If you are still planning to attend, you do not need to do anything at this time, your event registration will still be valid. If you can no longer attend, you can cancel your registration by following these steps. Registration is helpful, but not mandatory. Walk-ins will be welcome at the event. Brevard County, FL — CareerSource Brevard is proud to announce Paychecks for Patriots, a special statewide hiring fair in November dedicated to employing Florida veterans. More than 8,000 veteran candidates and military family members who participated in previous Paychecks for Patriots events have gained employment from connections made at these events. This year, CareerSource Brevard’s Paychecks for Patriots veterans job fair will take place Thursday, November 10th from 10am to 1pm, at the Viera Regional Community Center, 2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Melbourne.

Marci Murphy, president of CareerSource Brevard said, “Brevard County, and Brevard County Parks & Recreation, will be partnering with CareerSource Brevard to connect veterans and residents with career opportunities that continue our focus on the present and the future of Brevard County and on the people who live and work here”.

Veterans and their families bring dedication, a special set of skills and diversity to Florida’s workforce. CareerSource Brevard is excited to serve those who have served our country.
