Free Business Learning Event – Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs Seminar

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA-CareerSource Brevard (CSB), the area authority on workforce development, will host US Department of Labor Compliance Officers Belkys Cintron and Carlos Gamazo for a free Business Learning event seminar updating local businesses on the contractual obligation of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal Government.

The seminar, will take place from 8:30AM- 10:00AM on Thursday, April 28 at the CareerSource Brevard Rockledge career center located at 295 Barnes Blvd, Rockledge. The seminar to benefit Federal contractors and their subcontractors, will focus on how to meet and stay compliant with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Information on the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistant Act (VEVRAA) and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 will be discussed. The seminar is part of an ongoing series of Business Learning events focused on bringing value and education to area employers.
