Northrop Grumman lands $22M contract; work taking place on Space Coast

Major defense firm Northrop Grumman was awarded a $22 million contract on Jan. 26, and part of the work is taking place in Central Florida.

The Falls Church, Va.-based firm (NYSE: NOC) will provide support for technical engineering services, design and development engineering, component and full-scale test and evaluation engineering, and tactical underwater launcher hardware for the common missile compartment for the U.S. Navy. The common missile compartment is featured on submarines to house the Trident II missiles and other related weaponry.
