High school juniors and seniors: you can earn and learn this summer with a summer job!
Students can get hands-on experience, gain valuable work skills, and make professional connections with these summer jobs programs:
Cocoa Works Summer Youth Internship Program
The City of Cocoa is now accepting internship applications for the following departments: Information Technology, Public Works, Human Resources, and Utilities. Applicants must be a resident of Cocoa, be a current junior or senior, and be a minimum of 16 years old.
2022 Program Dates
May 9th – May 13th: Pre-Screening Interviews
June 1st – June 2nd: Foundations Training Week at CareerSource Brevard – Rockledge
June 6th – June 9th: Match-up week
June 10th: New Hire Orientation at Cocoa City Hall
June 13th – July 15th: Paid internship, 25 hours per week at $10 per hour
July 26th: Graduation at the Cocoa City Council Meeting
Application deadline: Friday, April 29th
City of Titusville Summer Youth Initiative
The City of Titusville is now accepting internship applications for the following departments: Community Development, Building, Water Resources, Public Works, Community Relations, Police Department. Applicants must be 16-24 years of age.
2022 Program Dates
Pre-Internship Training: Saturday, May 14th, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, at CareerSource Brevard – Titusville
Paid Summer Internship: June 6th – July 29th, 8 weeks, 25 hours per week
Application deadline: Monday, May 2nd
CareerSource Brevard Summer Jobs Program
Attention high school juniors and seniors! Apply for a paid part-time summer job and get free work skills training too. Applicants must be current high school juniors and graduating seniors on free or reduced lunch.
Take these 4 easy steps:
1. Apply by Saturday, May 7th
2. Attend the eligibility and information session on the date assigned. (Sessions are held in early May)
3. Attend a two-day pre-employment workshop. (Workshops are held in early June)
4. Start your job! (Jobs start June 20th and end July 29th)
