WHAT: Quarterly Manufacturing Sector Strategy meeting with industry initiatives updates
Program Highlights: Building the Manufacturing Talent Pipeline– Bayside High School Manufacturing Academy is open for business. Brevard Public Schools listened to manufacturers and we now have a manufacturing career pathway for High School students. Come meet some students, tour the facility and learn about the programs being offered!Janice Scholtz, Brevard High School CTE Director will discuss the focus on building the manufacturing talent pipeline and how YOU can get involved to change the perceptions of manufacturing in our young adults.
Kevin Carr, CEO FloridaMakes will give us an overview of the Advanced Manufacturing Leadership Council initiatives and recommendations for a statewide coordinated effort to develop education pathways and develop regional pilot programs.

This meeting will be held while school is in session. You must bring your valid ID for admittance. School dismisses at 3:30pm. We will end the meeting promptly at 3:00 so attendees can avoid the student exit traffic.
