CareerSource Brevard to Participate in Ninth Annual Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Event
Brevard County, FL – CareerSource Brevard is proud to announce its participation in the state’s ninth annual Paychecks for Patriots, a special hiring fair in November dedicated to employing veterans. To celebrate Veterans Day this month, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida National Guard, the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and participating Florida employers are partnering with CareerSource Florida regions to connect veterans with career opportunities to continue Governor DeSantis’ mission to be the most veteran-friendly state in the nation.
To address the employment needs of service members and veterans across the state, the annual Paychecks for Patriots event works to connect employers with great military and veteran candidates for current employment opportunities in Florida.
CareerSource Brevard is excited to serve those who have served our country. Through Paychecks for Patriots, businesses will connect with talented, well-trained veterans to join their team. Over the past 8 years, more than 6,756 veteran candidates and military family members have participated in Paychecks for Patriots events statewide.
This year, the events will be hosted in communities throughout the state during the month of November. Veterans and their families bring dedication, a special set of skills, and diversity to Florida’s workforce. CareerSource Brevard will aim to match veterans with employers who value the knowledge, skills, and attributes attained during military service.
