New Career Center Serves Hundreds Daily: Employers, Job Seekers and Former Aerospace Workers Benefit

Brevard Workforce to hold career center Grand Opening November 18; Event open to public
Rockledge, FLORIDA – Brevard Workforce is officially acknowledging the opening of its career center in Rockledge with a Grand Opening event scheduled for Friday, November 18, at 10 a.m.
The event is open to the public and will be held inside the Rockledge career center, located at 295 Barnes Blvd.
Hundreds of employers, job seekers and former aerospace workers visit the Rockledge Career Career daily. Services include career counseling, résumé assistance, recruitment services, monthly workshops for job seekers, and much more all at no cost.
Several local leaders and elected officials are expected to attend, along with members of the Brevard Workforce Board of Directors, and Brevard Workforce President Lisa Rice.
Kennedy Space Center Director Bob Cabana is also expected to attend and speak briefly.
The event is open to the public, and the Center will be open during its regular business hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the day of the event.
The Rockledge career center opened its doors to the public on June 23, 2011. At roughly 21,000 square feet, the Rockledge career center is the largest of Brevard Workforce’s three career centers, which are also located in Titusville and Palm Bay.
