Twelfth Annual Paychecks for Patriots Job Fairs Scheduled in November

CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia (CSBFV) is proud to once again participate in the annual Paychecks for Patriots, the twelfth annual job fair dedicated to employing Veterans. CSBFV will hold two job fairs this year:

November 14, 2024
3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Viera Regional Community Center
2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Melbourne

The event is FREE and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome. Pre-Register for faster entry.

“CSBFV is excited to serve those who have served our country,” says Donna Runge, Job and Benefits Administrator with CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia. “Through Paychecks for Patriots, businesses can connect with well-trained Veterans for current employment opportunities in our region or in another part of the state. CSBFV aims to match Veterans with employers who value the knowledge, skills, and attributes attained during military service.” Attendees can meet employers from a variety of industries offering a wide range of employment opportunities. Hiring managers may offer interviews on the spot.

Over the past several years, Veteran candidates and military family members have participated in Paychecks for Patriots events statewide. Veterans and their families bring dedication, a special set of skills, and diversity to Florida’s workforce.

Scheduled each year in collaboration with the commemoration of Veterans Day, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida National Guard, the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and participating Florida employers’ partner with CareerSource Florida regions to address employment needs of service members and Veterans.
